Young talent and researchers in Vigo explore new frontiers in underwater communications with monodon by Navantia, S.A., S.M.E and the Universidade de Vigo.
The University of Vigo is this week becoming a hub for innovation as it hosts ThePulseHackathon, a technology challenge organised by monodon by Navantia, the company’s innovation division, in collaboration with QOPHI Lab, part of the atlanTTic Research Center at the University of Vigo.
International undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students are working alongside researchers and industry experts to develop advanced solutions in the field of underwater optical communications.
Following two intensive days of creativity, teamwork and technological development, participants will present their projects to the judging panel on Friday, 10 July, in a final session culminating in the awards ceremony recognising the most outstanding initiatives.
The event offers a unique opportunity to discover ideas that could help shape the future of communications in the marine environment.
